Job Description - Facebook Ad Manager

Role:

  • Oversee the creation and deployment of company Facebook Ads
  • Ensure that company’s ads are getting consistently producing expected results
  • Shield CMO from ads management tasks and questions

Responsibilities:

  • Facebook Ads Responsibilities
    • Audit materials CMO requests you to send traffic to, providing feedback for improvements or adjustments that may support you in creating better results
    • Ensure proper tracking of all ads campaigns, including duplicating funnels and creating multiple forms of data tracking
    • Outline suggested facebook ads strategy
    • Outline suggested copy angles and video ad angles
    • Create or delegate the creation of video scripts, and work with the CMO & Video Editor to ensure adequate and creative video ads are created in a timely fashion
    • Create Ad Campaign OTA sheets, and assign and oversee tasks as needed
    • Record video explanations of required ad copy to the ads copywriter and oversee the completion of all ads copy
    • Delegate and oversee the creation of creative ad images with multiple variations to test
    • Set up ad campaigns following best practices
    • Create multiple ad variations to properly split test different audiences, messages, images, videos, settings, platforms, and more.
    • Tracking campaign performance daily on tracking spreadsheet
    • Creating weekly reports and sending to CMO for review
    • Review, test, and double, triple check that all ads and funnel technology are working, ensuring no technical errors will occur upon launch of the ads.
    • Update and maintain a critical links and stats tracking document for the ad campaigns
    • Create an error log to track errors, mistakes, and issues with ads
    • Review ads on a daily basis to make decisions about next steps for the ads, and implement based on what the data is telling you
    • Optimize and scale ads based on performance and data review
    • Upon completion of the ads set up record a video walk through of the entire process, so that the CMO and ads team are on the same page.
    • Create And Maintain A Feedback Loop for identifying and resolving areas of improvement during the process
    • Regularly review and manage comments on ads, deleting and hiding comments where necessary and responding to comments where necessary
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends.
    • Perform competitive and industry research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
    • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in Facebook Ads, design tools and applications
    • Experiment with new growth strategies and ideas
    • Be willing to continuously be learn and sharpen your skill.- Must attend  at least 2 hours of trainings each and every week in one of the below items
      • Facebook Marketing
      • ManyChat
      • Instagram advertising

  • Inter-Departmental Responsibilities
    • When needed, work with the CMO for answers to strategic questions
    • Communicate with CMO to ensure they are aware of the ads team’s fulfillment capacity.

Results:

  • Reach Marketing Department’s Critical Number
  • Company ad campaigns are running efficiently, meeting expectations, fulfilling requirements, and producing expected results.
  • Company’s ads are consistently and predictably producing a positive ROI
  • Tracking for all ads are always up to date and made readily available to the CMO and ads team
  • CMO is being shielded from ads management
  • All ad copy and images are following best practices and Facebook policies
  • Ad account is in good standing with Facebook
  • Errors are kept to a minimum and not unnecessarily detracting from client results or experience
  • The designs of the ads images and copy are cohesive with company branding
  • Completion of tasks on or before the due date
  • All tasks are completed correctly
  • Communication with CMO and ads team is clear and effective, along with professional and concise.
